Alvin Chong, a singer and an actor, as well as the ambassador of various prominent brands. He is well known for his unique qualities and down-to-earth personality, which is also the main pulling factor for many fans in Malaysia as well as globally. Shortly after Astro Star Quest 2009, Alvin was invited to participate in Jiangsu (China) TV program “Absolutely Sing”. He was also invited to be the opening guest for Hong Kong artiste’s concert in Malaysia including Eason Chan 陳奕迅 ,Justin Lo 側田 and Nicholas Teo 張棟樑. Alvin won the "Top 25 Golden Melodies & New Talent Award" in 2013 ASTRO Music Awards with his single "The Days Without You"(你不在) In 2014, again, he won the "Top 25 Golden Melodies & MY ASTRO Choice Singer of The Year” with his single, (可惜不是你). His latest single [Born This Way 与生俱来] was released in August 2015. Its has captured the hearts of both Chinese and Malay Fans. The song had won him the Top 10 Hottest Local Tracks; the Top 10 Best MV in Neway K Awards 2015 and also nominated for “My Favorite Male Singer” of the year & ONFM Music Award Best Top 10 Local Tracks. His first act as one of the lead actors in the movie "3 Brothers" & "The Dreams Boyz" has made his reputation skyrocket. While his latest movie [Huat The Fish 四个愚夫之金玉满堂] which was released in cinemas nationwide on the 4th day of the Chinese New Year this year, turned into a stage musical. The musical play continue from where the story left off in the movie. Due to the overwhelming response to this blockbuster Lunar New Year movie, [Huat The Fish] offering the audience an up-close, interactive experience with the movie stars. This is the first ever stage musical play made from a Malaysian Chinese movie. Alvin latest new Malay single [Lagu Mu] will be release soon.
